The Terror Victims Support Center

For Jews acts of tzedakah and loving kindness play a central role in our lives.

At Seder night, we begin; "This is the poor bread that our fathers ate in Egypt. Let all those who are downtrodden come and eat. All those in need come and partake of the Pesach sacrifice." But why do we need such a reminder? The Maharal of Prague explains that the Pesach sacrifice has to be from a small animal – a sheep or a goat. When one strikes a small animal the pain is felt throughout the body, and so it is with the Jewish people.

Throughout Israel there continue to be families suffering psychological and physical trauma as a result of a violent act of terror. Please don't turn away. We provide weekly food baskets to say we care and special Pesach Holiday baskets to say that we are with you. Let all who are hungry come eat.

Please take this opportunity to make your Pesach food donation to the Terror Victims Support Center. Secure donations can be made on our website, www.terror-victims.org.il or checks can be mailed to 3 Yakim Street, Jerusalem. All donations will receive an IRS tax deductible receipt and will be earmarked for Pesach food baskets.

May HaShem bless you and your family for all you do for the Land and the People of Israel.

With Pesach just around the corner, many families are strapped for cash to buy groceries.
This year Ohr Meir and Bracha continues the tradition of providing a Pesach food basket. This basket will include vegetables, fruit, chicken, and all "seder" stuff.
