Crash attack at Tapuach junction

A policeman and a soldier were lightly injured

An IDF policeman and an IDF fighter were lightly injured this morning (Wednesday) in a car bomb attack at the Tapuach junction in Samaria. The terrorist was shot after getting out of the vehicle and neutralized. His condition was three.

Police said the terrorist hit the two while manning a police checkpoint and recording reports, and got out of his vehicle as he advanced toward them with a knife drawn. One of the officers noticed what was happening and shot the driver.

The report of the crash was received at 08:15. The driver who was shot came from the direction of Huwwara and hit two people who were at the checkpoint and registered reports for cars. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and provided the two with medical treatment.
